O.K GUYS ...this sounds great but i we all need to be on the same page....i think its easier said than done...so i have ben thinking....what can we do with bare bones shop tools....table saw jointer planer ...it would be nice to have a mortiser but a drill and chisels can work...a #4 and 7 planes would be helpful and how about some gouges.......i think the project can be a really cool coffee table...the top aprons and legs will be made of solid....with a drawer that will be veneered with edge banding and cockbeading.....maybe we can put a compass star on the top ....how about some easy bellflowers and stringing....at least on 1 leg...heck we can make it so it has 4 different legs and embelishments.....you know like 2 spade feet 1 carved out of solid and the other made from applied stock ....1 tapered with a veneered cuff ...and the other will be a surprise.....i am working on a contemporary thing in my head....its a simple detail but very cool....so let me know .. i need top make it first so i need some leed time....sounds fun
