Will there be a podcast showing the finishing process on the Bombe? I would to see how they get the finish in the pigeon holes and the time it take to finish that monster! I'm sure it's done by now what is the finish?

hey mike...i wish it was done...keep watching...i ran into a problem a while ago....and i filmed it ALL... and i only lost part of my mind...so sorry to say...the beast is still looming over my every breath.....and if the finish is what you want to see then we got a treat for you... i am working with one if the countrys best restoration finishers....and she has agreed to be a part of this project...my vision for the bombe is to have it look just the way it did in 1770 coming out of the shop so it wont be toned down .....at all ...she will be making her own varnish and whatever else is going to go into this thing...she is also going to be gilding the carving around the scolloped edge of the upper doors.....believe me....you wont be able to see this type of work anywhere else ...i am looking foward to it....mostly because it will mean my job is completed!!!!ok man thanks for the question...
