Fireplace & television

12/12/2007 08:56 AM cdanjou282

I would like to know if one can install a flat screen tv above a wood-burning fireplace?

Thanks.

Fireplace & Television

I'm not sure that would be the best place for a television. I suppose part of the question involves how well the fireplace ventilates so that no smoke enters the living room (which it shouldn't anyway). Another part may be how well insulated the wall is above the fireplace to keep heat from effecting the TV. Really, you might ask an electronics professional or simply find another place for the TV.
