We have purchased an 1900 Farmhouse that has a, ugly, poorly built, MASSIVE fireplace in the kitchen and a smaller fireplace on the back side in the living room. We have decided to completely remove this fireplace and open up the wall between the kitchen and living room. What is the best way to go about taking this fireplace down?
