Flexible Skylights

04/27/2008 12:30 PM karen8647

I'm trying to get more light in my very small, townhouse and have been researching the tubular skylight (flexible). I'm also trying to help do my part to save energy.

My question comes from information volunteered to me by a friend who had been told that the skylights (no mention of manufacturer or kind) were not cost efficient as they cause loss of heat in the winter and cooling in the summer. Can you provide me with any information on these tubular (flexible) skylights and if it's worth it for me to research further/install?
