Forced Hot Air Furnace Fan Control On Low Speed

09/26/2005 05:31 PM redhat

This is what I want to do: I have oil fired forced hot air. I have a partially finished basement with a office and a den there. I also have a pellet stove on the main floor of the house as supplament heat. I would like to move the pellet stove into the basement and put a vent into the cold air return (it is in the basement ceiling) and have the furnace fan run on a lower speed to take the warm air from the basement and distribute it through the rest of the house.

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made.
