In case you are still needing an answer -- I would install the out-swinging ones, since most dining rooms are small and the in-swinging ones would take up too much space. Also, if you want screen doors, look into Phantom Screens - they don't swing in or out at all (taking up no space), they roll up vertically (like a shade) to the side, practically invisible.
