I use my garage for a lot of project, not so much for putting a vehicale inside. I live in the northern midwest and would like to know how to insulate the garage door area or if there is an actual garage door area cover. My husband wants to keep the garage door in place, but I want to be able to use the space during the winter months also and keep it comfortable in that area - but am not allowed to convert the space totally. I'm aware of the insulating panels one can buy in a kit, but was wondering if they actually made more of a cover/blanket that fastens or velcros to insulate it more.
