The manufactuerer is overhead door co. The problem is the door sometimes will start to open and stop. Sometimes during power outages or spikes the door will automatically open. Other times the light in the opener will light but the door will do nothing. Should I try replacing the door sensors?

Sensors only affect the closing of the doors not the opener.
