I have a mid-1950's Geneva metal cabinet that I believe is for brooms and which can also serve as a pantry (floor to ceiling). It has hooks on the bottom, and wire shelves.
I have been using it down my basement for storage. Originally painted Green, I painted the outside beige. The pulls may be missing also, but I'd have to go home and look.
