When I was researching the hinges I came across a few complaint sites and whoa were there a bunch of door issues where the entire door just fell right off when they opened it. A few had them happen right after the hinges were repaired. It seemed to affect the double ovens mostly, so just beware of that when you have it serviced. I remember when Jenn-Air meant something, now after my experiences with their cooktop and oven, I will never buy another maytag appliance again. We replaced the cooktop with a Gagenau and never looked back. |
