I bought a condo 3yrs ago, the man who lived here was a carpenter. Well, he built a pedestal bed into the wall. It is anchord into the studs on an interior wall, with bolts. I also found out that he has it anchored into the floor boards. The drywall rests on top of the pedestal and then begins again below. How do I remove or can it be removed? And as far as repairing the wall can it be done without spending a million dollars, lol? Any help is greatly appreciated. Hi Kim, I think you're gonna have to provide more info. Is the bed nailed, screwed, bolted, glued (or what) to the wall? What elements of the wall is it attached to: studs, drywall, ? etc? Is it an exterior wall or interior? Do you "own" both sided of the wall? etc. |
