I'm building a hunting / recreational cabin (24'x32' with a loft) in east Texas and have been given almost enough unfinished 3/4" x 2 1/4" maple to cover the whole cabin floor. The cabin is on blocks and the sub-flooring is 3/4" treated plywood over 2"x10" treated floor joyces. Do I need to place a barrier between the maple flooring and the treated plywood? The maple is already 3/4" thick so I don't want to raise it much more than what it already is. I'm not spending allot of money on this cabin, but want it to last.
