I want to put in some stone/brick steps..Which is better to use for treads...bluestone or limestone? I have heard that limestone will stain. I also have heard that bluestone will shale on the edges. Which is true.....which would hold up better??? Also ......I need a walkway....which is better, bluestone pavers, clay pavers, or bricks?? I am in the Northeast.....so want something that will hold up through snow, ice, and rocksalt.....and shoveling. Thanks
