Dear Design 77.... After some more research & thought, I'm considering investing in the FreeCast Ventures business start up - did you do the 5 day training that they offer - the cost today is $28,500 including table, sets of molds & material etc. Before taking on a costly venture, I wonder if you, or anyone else has trained there or knows their reputation. Thanks for your help, Soundssimple |

That sounds great! I have seen the estimated return sheet and the profit you can make is tremendous.
I didn't do the 5 day training, but because I live in Penticton, the owner, Colin Laver, invited me to his shop and we practiced on a 3 foot training crown moulding rubber mould. However, while I was there one of the independent distributors from Maple Ridge was there too. He did the training and is running a full time plaster moulding business in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
His name is Bobby Tomlinson and if you have any questions, he is the guy to talk to. Both him and Colin passed on their cell numbers to me and told me to call with any questions or when I needed help.
Please feel free to call Bobby @ 604-512-5958 - I'm confident he will be able to answer any questions you may have.
The company itself is very reputable and has been in Penticton for years. They did some beautiful work at the Penticton Lakeside Resort casino and I know they have done alot more projects in the Okanagan area.
If you have the time, please let me know how it goes.
