I had exactly the same problem for the past few years. This year I was finally able to remedy the problem. Putting my lights up this time as very fast.
Firstly, purchase the red Stucco Tape. The following is the process I followed to put up my Clear Twinkle Icicles:
1. Tears a small portion of red stucco tape and put it on the stucco/cement surface. Rub it so it says fast to the surface.
2. Place the lights directly on the red stucco tape you attached to the surface. Now, with a slightly smaller piece of red stucco tape fix the Twinkle Icicle (or whatever kind you have) to the the red stucco tape with another strip of red stucco tape. These tapes will stick to one another and with the lights in between those to they will hold with no problem.
The red tape sticks to the wall, the second piece of tape sticks the lights to the first piece of tape so that your lights have red tape under it and over it.
I hope this helps. Let me know if it does. |
