My fairly small, end-unit townhouse has an enormous difference in temperature. The floor of the attic is well insulated. I have HVAC service twice a year, which is supposed to include adjusting "baffles." (I confess ignorance here and realize the solution could be this.) I've tried partially closing the floor vents on the ground level, thinking more cold air would be forced upstairs. I recently installed a 52" ceiling fan at the top of the staircase, hoping it would help. Regardless of how it turns, it doesn't do the trick. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
