Hello, everyone. I have just joined and have a question about a house I am very interested in. It is a ranch with a full basement. On the back of the house there is a gap between the ground and the floor. So I looked under there and noticed that the back of the house over hangs the basement wall by about a foot and a half. Is this a problem? Why would it be like that. I do not think this house is a modular home, as it does not have the steel beams in the basement like I have seen. Would this be a problem and how could I fix it? Thanks so much.
