Housing for recessed lights

02/28/2008 03:56 PM FlAlleycat

Can the housing boxes be changed? I have two different styles in my house and want to be consistent, staying same size, of course.

Thanks!

The can light housing is up in the ceiling and you can't see it.

if you are talking about the trim ring there are many styles and they are sold separately.

(Hit a wrong key somewhere as I wasn't finished.)

What needs to be replaced is the housing. I didn't know if there was some way to access that from the ceiling and not have to crawl through the attic, but I guess not.
