We just purchased a late 1800's house. It has sadly been neglected for the last several years, and we are trying to get it back to it's origional beauty.

In almost every room there are old metal celings, they have been painted, repainted and just neglected. We want to restore them to their origional beauty but are unsure of the proper way to do this.
