How To set Posts for Freestanding Deck?

I am getting ready to put up a 12 x 20 Freestanding Deck that will be about 6' high at the back and over 6' at the front. Do I need to put any kind of bracing between the posts? If so what kind of bracing would be best as I want to use the underside for storage?
