Hi,
We're building our home on what is currently a 1/4 section of hay field. My plan is to fence off 3-4 acres to keep the cows/horses out. I'd have about an acre in front of the house, with some lawn, trees, etc. Then behind the house a bit more grass, a big garden, and our out-buildings.
The big question is, what's the best way to get rid of this hay crop? I'd rather not roundup the whole yard, but I guess that would do the job.
I also have a rough landscape plan, if anyone out there has a knack for these sorts of things. It may come out too small to read, so let me know if you have autocad and I'll send you the real copy.
