How to Apply a Color Wash Faux Painting Technique

10/28/2009 10:32 PM stevecor1

Does anyone know what brand of paint and the names of the colors that were used in the "How to Apply a Color Wash Faux Painting Technique" video? Those colors are exactly what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

"for what it is worth the 2 paint colors used for the color wash are: Behr Premium Plus - interior semi-gloss enamel: Root Beer (240F-7) and Burnished Mahogany (160F-7). I believe that brand of paint comes from Home Depot. The base coat was a beige color - Benjamin Moore _ Doe Beige - N319 2B - HC-46. hope that helps and sorry it took me
so long."

Here is the link to the original how to in case someone finds this page via a search engine looking to Apply a Faux Color Wash.

Thank you so much for writing back! I will be getting those colors and attempt to do a job as well as the one in the video. This is my first attempt at a project like this.

Thanks again for your help!
