How to finish dry wall up to brick chimney

11/19/2008 01:36 PM baggyboy

Hi,

I have a room with drywall on 3 walls that meets up to a large chimney on the fourth wall. Currently the intersection of drywall and brick is unfinished and covered with 3/4 round. I would like a more finished look and want to know how to finish (tape, mud, "flat-tape"?) the drywall where it butts up to the brick.

Advice welcome!
