To whom it may concern, 1)How do I connect a cable from switches and lights to a fuse panel (or the bus, incoming power). 2) Why do some cables have the white and ground connect to ground in the panel and black to the breaker and some cables have a red wire going to a breaker and the black going to another breaker and ground to ground? Thank you |

The black and red hot wires in the same cable provide 220 volts to say an clothes electric dryer. No offense meant, but from your questions, I recommend having an electrician do the connections for you. The $50-100 will be money well spent. Consider it cheap insurance vs the very high tuition if you made a mistake. |
