Tommy,
What time frame where you thinking about on this new project? I know you mentioned it would be a weekend project, however, I am in the last third of a major honey dew project, the Crazy Leg Table, and a few other minor projects. I would like to finish some of these project...get too many irons in the fire, thing always end up in a bad way.
Attached is a picture of one of three more units currently still in production. Have already completed a corner unit and desk

Thanks fellas! I appreciate the warm welcome. I'm excited to start the project. If it's anything like the last one, it'll be awesome. I've been eager to do some Federal pieces.
Questions....on the sand shading, is there a particular "wattage" on the hot plate one should look for? And what sand does everybody use?
Thanks,
Dave |

i still gotta make it and get my head wrapped around the presentation....plus i gotta finish setting up the new spot and get some benches...so i think 2-3 weeks tops ...so you know we will have to start a thread for a new pledge sheet....i love those things...so somebody should start it up....20 at least...and i think we should vote for a winner...for both projects....plus i have a real funny demand for this project |

I promise I won't screw any legs up this time...
There's a guy that I work with that I'll try to get on board, too.
Looking forward to it.

Dear Mr T-Chisel:
May I call you Thomas......nahhh lets leave it at the numerous variations.....some of which we no doubt.... cannot say.
I regret to inform you that my Sorby paring chisel, suped-up Craftsman #4 and L-N 60.5 will have to cheerlead on this one. I'm going through what Nobel Prize winning scientist Dr Weyhauser referrs to as "Composite Board Withdrawal".
Of course I will be watching closely and observing the Wonderful World of Tommy...(even though you stink at pinball)......and look forward to the shananigans. My "Ole Crazy Leg" needs to be kept in the cross-hairs.
I will miss tremendously the opportunity for more learning on this project.....the minds here are quite full. The beauty of woodworking is you can't learn it all, but by jeez....you sure can try.
But what's more important than who's building and who's not, is the "Dimensionalty" of woodworker that you've assembled is a really nice stew.
It was pretty exciting to see a beautiful lowboy and a tall clock pop up on screen to be followed by an "I'm in". Proof that Webster really does believe in "dimensionalty" as do we.
So Rough Cutters, here's to raising the chisels high and lov'in it on a shoe-string.
".......you know what I mean guys"
