Experienced-NOT

For those guys that don't have much experience don't worry neither do I and I'm having a blast and learning a ton. Dave that clock is awesome. I have a bunch of things I would love to ultimately make and that clock you made is now one of them.

Wow

I think most of my posts are titled "Wow" or "Whoa." But it's because you all do amazing work! I can't believe I've been trying to answer questions. I should be grilling you on how you did all this stuff. Any way we could get a little walk-through of some of these pieces? Nothing extravagant, but I think people would be interested just to hear what you each found particularly difficult or interesting. I know I would. I finally got the pictures back from my table, too.

Keep up the great work! This next project will be really fun.

Niel,
What kind of coffee do you drink. What ever it is it sure putts you in the mode to come up with some great stuff to write.

Eli, The table came out cool. Got to love figured maple for it pure beauty of what it can do to the simplest of thing.

I've been watching the show and I love it! I just started following the comments in the forum and decided to join up when I saw the posting for a new project. So, TChisel... when do we find out what it's going to be?!?!

Andrew

Welcome New Dudes

04/18/2008 05:45 PM McLaren1592

Just wanted to welcome all the new guys here.... quite a few have popped up in this last thread! I'm having a ball working on crazy legs.... this next project should hopefully be even more fun with all the people involved.

I'll try to throw up some more comments on the work you guys posted later, gotta run.

I am New

04/18/2008 09:51 PM Grumpyfila

I have been following this and other threads for months on end. I even went as far as ordering the veneer for the crazy leg table and still want to work on it. Unfortunately I am having a hard time getting the wood for it. Somehow I will get it and complete the project I am sure at a late date.

Living here in the Virgin Islands makes it a bit hard at times to get tools and materials as you could imagine.

I am enjoying all the comments and look forward to the next project and would like to be involved.

I don't really have any furniture pictures to post as most of my work has been in the finish carpentry and cabinet arena and home built-ins. I am now spending less time with this and would like to attempt some furniture pieces. I look for all of your help to accomplish this.

Eli the table came out really nice, the finish pulled the curl out nice..it's a keeper!!!!!

Hey Justin.........my better type-type comes up when I make the morning brew, it's no mocha latte grande skinny BS, its a good old fashion Sisters Oregon Coffee Blend......I throw in an extra scoop to give it a bit of the Nasty.

Hey Grumpyfila Dave......what Island in the Virgin Islands......chartered in the BVI's a number of times. I've done the Tortola - Charlottamole run. My wifes favorite place is sunset on an outside mooring in Cane Garden Bay.

Love the energy.......Neil
