Incepa Toilet Seat

03/30/2005 09:51 AM bethany109

I have a toilet that I believe is a brand called "Incepa". The toilet seat that was on it broke so I threw it out and went to ********** to get a new one. Not knowing a thing about toilet seats I bought the one that looked like it would fit...well now I know how important it is to have the right toilet seat...BUT I cannot find the seat for this bizarre toilet. Can you help me. The base is kind of rectangle or square. I looked on Google but couldn't find a thing...please help before someone falls in the toilet. Thank you.Bethany

same problem

I have the same toilet as bethany by the sounds of it, and am also having major problems trying to locate a replacement.
That link left by doug is not the thing. The Incepia seat is wooden, long, wider at the back, then slightly narrower for the front section, with straight sides. If I can leave a photo on this forum, can you let me know how, and it would be a damn site easier to show you!!!

a picture of the seat

Found out incepa is a brazilian tile/ceramic company. Can't find a site selling toilet seats except this one, but can't get a homepage to load.

Hope it gives someone a clue as to how to get one.

Here's a link to the seat anyway. Look at 'Hampton' halfway down.

Thanks Doug, that was spot on. Do you know where to get these seats from in the UK? I sent an email to Astra, but suspect there may be a language barrier.

again, many thanks

I also have a broken toilet seat like the one you describe. my toilet says incepa but the seat has the man Laufen on it so I went to the Laufen website and am currently corresponding with them trying to find a replacement I just sent them a picture and am waiting to hear back. Laufen apperantly owns Incepa.

May have the answer!

I too am searching the web for a toilet seat for the Incepa Hampton range. The nearest I can find is on the Philip Morris & Son web site, they have one that looks like it may fit but at £109.00 it may be an expensive gamble.

Will be interested to hear if anyone buys this seat, and it fits! Or if a manufacturers seat can be found.
