Installation Clips for Exterior Vinyl Shutters |

Please help an old lady in distress. I'm looking for a dozen metal clips to reinstall exterior vinyl shutters that blew off in a windstorm. These clips consist of two parts: the top portion is a flat strip about an inch wide with a hole and slide which hangs on a screw mounted in brick. The bottom portion is like a binder clip which attaches to a rib on the backside of the shutter. My local hardware store doesn't know what I'm talking about and wants to sell me a new "system." Thanks for any assistance you can provide. |

The simpler solution is to place the shutter in the desired location, then drill directly thru the shutter and into the brick using a masonry bit.
Then use masonry type Tapcon screws to simply screw the shutter directly to the brick. |
