Insulate exterior wall

05/10/2003 09:39 AM Owen McBride

My house is solid brick with ,I believe, no insulation in the exterior walls. I have a room I want to make into an office. It's too cold. How can I apply insulation without gutting and re drywalling. Is there an insulated panel I can install over the existing wall?

Cheers, Owen

Have insulation blown in from inside the house. They cut 2 or 2.5" holes in drywall to insert the hose between every stud.

I have my garage ceiling done this way last summer. The area above the garage is finshed living space.
