Hi, We just restored our 100 years old oak door that came with the house we bought. It came out beautiful,but since it is so old, there are gaps on the top and the bottom, which we want to insulate. I was wondering what would be the best product for that? I did some research and found magnetic weatherstripping, which is supposed to be very efficient,but I am not sure if it is only for metal doors, or it could be used for wooden ones as well? Also, where is a good place to buy it? And lastly, what is another good option besides the magnetic weatherstripping?

Hello, yep magnetic w/s only work's on metal..go to a home improvement center, and ask them for Q-LON weatherstrip. you can find push in or self-sticking. you will need a (sweep) for the bottom. measure the space between bottom of panel and sill (very important). It's usualy 1/4" to 3/8".
