Tommy,

Just wanted to say thanks for the great podcasts. The bombe secretary is sweet! I just discovered this on Friday and I have watched about half of them. Can't get enough.

I make period reproductions myself (in my spare time after the kids go to bed). Very few people in the KC area are interested in all the little beautiful details of this stuff. My wife bears with me and rolls her eyes as I show her the latest piece in a book that I am all excited about...

I actually saw you on Woodshop News last year, my Dad was in WSN last year as well (Ben Hobbs out of North Carolina).

So anyway thanks again and I look forward to participating on this board.

The lowboy was my version of a Philadelphia lowboy, inspired by the Marshall High Chest at Chipstone, if I did it again the vines would be MUCH better, they are kind of tedious...pretty happy with the shell.

Sorry I'm having issues trying to load a different picture. User error, I'm sure.

Since you're new to the podcast like myself, be sure to watch them in i-Tunes rather than through the viewer on the Bob Vila website. The difference is staggering. When I stumbled over the podcast recently, it was on a Friday night and I watched every episode in one sitting! I wish I had seen them in i-Tunes because going back and watching the pediment episodes after having seen them in the native viewer on the website makes a big difference. I'm just hoping we get to see more actual woodworking (hint hint)

Thanks for the note on the i-tunes.

Finding the rough cut show is helping me get out of the depression of watching my Tarheels get pounded on Saturday. My wife went to KU, so she's happy at least.

Here is a Perquimans County Corner Cupboard I finished a couple of years ago for another example...
