I just had a new roof put on about a month ago. Today it is raining and now I find that there is dripping all around the house in the spot between the gutter and the soffet. The soffets actually look like they are dripping. What is the problem? Who do I call to come and fix it before the dripping turns to ice below as the temps drop? Can't ask installer...it was my brother in law and he lives about 200 miles away.

Are your gutters wood or aluminum ?
Does your eves have dripedge or not ?
Was there a row or two of ice and water barrier applied under the roofing ?

The only space between your gutters and soffit should be a single or shadow stacked fascia, getting behind that is easy for water if care is not taken durring roof installation,or split fascia wood gutter installation errors.

Answers to my questions or even better ,...a photo....and I will stop the water from traveling in the wrong places !!
