I have a gas oven that has a digital screen that shows all of the operational messages. It is about 7 or 8 years old buillt by Kenmore(Ultra Bake model).The thing is that whenever we have an electrical outage the screen will show PF which means power failure and we can reset it and it will work again. This time we had a power outage that lasted more than 24 hours and the screen had the following message" PF 5A6" and a little box below it that looks a domino tile with 2 dots on each end we cant reset the stove to work. Anyone know what this code means and what to do besides calling a repairman. Thanks for anyone's help.

I'm afraid I have never heard of such a display before. Have you tried disconnecting power from the appliance again for just a couple of minutes to see if just the normal PF message returns? It might be worth a shot.
