LAUNDRY CHUTE

11/11/2006 06:54 PM tombobb

My daughter has a two story house and the laundry room is, of course, on the first floor. She wants a chute from the master bedroom into the laundry room. The master bedroom is directly above the laundry room but I need ideas on how to finish the ceiling in the laundry room so that there is not just an open hole in the ceiling. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also, if someone has done this, I would like to hear how they did it. Much thanks, Tom

Okay I am thinking that you have the chute installed and you want to cover up where the chute comes through the ceiling. If so why not put some of the moulding that is round in the location.
