Hi
We recently purchased a home with a LUX 1500 thermostat . I followed the directions to set the date and time. My fiance insists that after I changed the date and time, the heat kicks on more often that before. And it only turns on for a few short moments before turning off again. We do not have a manual for the thermostat, I was hoping someone may know, if I did in fact did do something.
Right now the display reads 62 degrees on the Left side, and on the Right it reads 61 degrees , Hold and Heat. I do think that it has been turning on more frequent..
Thank you so much! |

If you bought the thermostat to give more precise heat control, then it is doing its job of keeping the temperature close within one degree instead of two or more by turning the heat on and off more often.
The REST OF THE STORY has to do with the as yet unidentified heating system.

Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made. |
