I need to tighten a loose wrought iron handrail secured in 2 places. The top is secured well into the wall. The 7/8" post is sunk in concrete and is loose. The concrete slab is also covered in a low berber carpet.

I have a 2nd rail with the same problem except the post is resting on a wood step, covered in carpet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
