The bathroom sink is the last "water fixture" on the water line in my home.

I recently installed a porcelain tile floor in the bathroom. When I hooked everything back up, the facet had low pressure.

So, I thought maybe a new faucet would fix the problem. I installed a new bathroom sink faucet and it still has low pressure.

What else did I do? I cut off the water supply as it enters the house, close off the supply valves to the bathroom faucet and opened the bathroom tub with only a little trickle coming from the bathtub (I thought maybe I could do some kind of back pressure deal to get trapped objects out of the line before the sink).

I don't know what else to try, please help? By the way, the house was built in 1964, please don't tell me I have to open the wall up and redo the plumbing.

the last time i had trouble like that what i did was unhooked the line from the faucet and found low water flow from the line.
then i turned off the main,removed the stem from the shutoff,then poked an ice pick into the area where the stem was removed.
it was filled with rust.
then i had somebody turn on the main briefly while i held a bucket over the shutoff and flushed it out.
put back together,turned on now good.

check the aerator if you haven't already.
i know you already tried that.

First, thanks for the responses to my question. Here is what I did -->

1. Replaced the faucet and faucet supply lines, still low pressure in cold and hot water of the bathroon sink.
2. Took the faucet and vanity away from the wall and took the shut off valves off. Had my wife turn the water supply to the house on slowly (cold), it seemed to flow. Had her shut that off and turn the hot supply from the hot water tank on slowly, only a dribble.

3. Replaced the shut off valves since they were leaking anyway.

Conclusion: I have the old corrugated piping (assumption) and the hot side has cause a buildup of corrosion. I guess I have to open the wall now and try to go there.

I do have a question though, why does the cold side of the faucet still have low water pressure. I got a good strean into the bucket when I had my wife turn it on with just the nipple sticking out of the wall?

Per the last post, I noticed that when I turn the water on in the bathroom, the pipes make a gurgling noise inside the wall. What is this an indication of normally?

Thanks for all the help, I would have spent a huge amount of money calling a plumber probably (money that I don't have).

first of all if the main supply is closed and you opened the hot supply that's all you would get is a dribble from the hot supply.

check the faucet and supply lines again for blockage.disconnect the tubes from the shutoffs and see if you can blow air freely through both tubes with the faucet open.
if you got good flow from the pipe then the blockage must be in the faucet or supply tubes.

I have another situation now. In the other bathroom the hot water pressure is low. So, this is starting to be a hot water pressure problem. The pressure is only low in the two bathroom faucets. The kitchen sink, the bathroom tub and the other bathroom shower are all ok, just in the two faucets. What kind of demon is causing this issue? I HATE PLUMBING!!!

I hate to say it, but I got angry. When angry, I three a small jar (plastic) of vaseline at the faucet and it hit the hot handle while it was dribbling. My God, I shook some build up or corrosion aloose and an abundant floow began. I went to the other faucet and purposely beat on the handle with the same platice jar and low and behold, flowage. Thanks guys for all the help. I do have new lines now though, haha.
