Lubricant for St. Charles kitchen cabinets

01/03/2008 09:48 AM suenaz

I have a 1950 vintage St. Charles kitchen in excellent condition except that several of my drawers do not glide like they should. Can anyone tell me the best way to clean them and the best lubricant to make them glide more easily?

Inside of my St Charles cabinet says to remove drawers and wipe the rails with St Charles or DuPont "7" polish. Then apply a drop of 3-in-1 or similar oil to axle of each nylon roller. Have never done this myself, but that is what instructions say. Good luck.
