Luxaire problem

01/12/2004 09:56 PM cokensmile

My Luxaire unit is four years old. The unit now stays on continuously regardless of what the themostat is set to. Even if the themostat is turned off, the unit stays on. The heat does not come on but the blower stays on constantly. My only means of heat are my gas logs right now. Please help!

Luxaire problem

Tuen the power off to the unit for a few minutes. Turn it back on. If the unit works, stay warm until the technician gets there to check it completely and fix it. If it doesn't work, get the tech. If you clean the flame sensor, it might work. If you don't know what that is or where it is get the tech. Call the tech for a complete check. There is no time to take a year off to begin a new trade to learn how to fix and repair electronically controlled gas heat.
