MOEN Bathroom faucets run COLD

02/10/2007 08:40 PM Induetime

Same problem, two baths. One shower, one bathtub. Before a relatively short shower, the water runs cold. Before the tub is half full, same problem, cold water.

Water heater is fine. Set the anti-scald thing to max on the Moen faucets.

Moen posi-temp models L82338/9. They are less than a year old.

HELP! It's frustrating to ask any guests to take a two minute shower or only fill the tub a quarter full.

Tieger plumbing

How do you know it is the faucets and not the water heater giving the problem.

When was the manufacturers directions followed as far as draining the sediment out?

How old is the heater and is it set for a high enough temperature?

What is the recovery rate is this heater?

If the cold water supply tube inside the tank is defective you will not get the full benefit of the heater
