It would be unusual to have a second entry to the master bath, especially from a "public" hallway, but it's not unheard of. As to the situation being a detraction at selling time, I'd say no. It really depends on the buyer. The door can be easily locked from the inside or otherwise made single direction access. Buyers with lots of kids might look upon the situation as having easy access to a second bath for the kids without having them running through the master bedroom itself. It wouldn't appear to be that big an issue for a buyer/seller point of view. |
