I recently installed 1300 sq ft of the flooring. The wood was "seasoned" and a vapor barrier installed. At present at least 90 boards have cracked. The installer has attempted to replace some of the boards but the floor looks worse. What can I do? woodys |

Something is terribly wrong with the installation or the floor, or the material. What was there before? I would check installation first. Find out the manufacturers recommendations for installing the product and make sure it was followed. |

first question...how long was the wood in the room(s) before it was installed?hard wood must be at room temp.for a week at least.......if this was done, then you need the mgf's rep to inspect the floor, and replace it under the warrenty....good luck |

Hello, I know your post is quite old, but I'm having the same problem with my Mercier floor and I'm just wondering how you made out. |
