I am looking to build a home in Central America where they predominately use the metric system. All of the home plan books I have found are in square feet. Does anyone know where I can find a book or website that has home plans in the metric format.

I could always use a english plan and have it converted but that would result in very odd measurments for the builder. ie a 10' by 10' room suddenly becomes 3.048 m by 3.048 m. I would much rather use a plan that was designed in the metric format.

Any help in finding metric home plans would be much appreciated.
