Our house was built in 1940 and is on a brick foundation, only the sides are brick there is NO slab. It is a 4 foot dirt crawl space. Now our house is sagging in the middle of the house. How do we fix that problem? The other question I have is: we would like to put an upper floor on our one story house, How do we make our foundation strong enough to hold all of that weight?
