Hi Karen here looking for some help to fix a Kenmore stack washer/dryer. The problem is the washer only washes on the delicate cycle and that the only cycle. So can anyone tell me what is wrong with it? Thank you!

More details required

** Kenmore stack washer/dryer. **

I'm afraid that is not enough information to identify the appliance in question. What is needed is its exact model number. If you post it we can at least look it up to see what appliance design you're dealing with.

You can find tips for locating the model and serial number identification tag on your appliances at the following link:

** the washer only washes on the delicate cycle **

What happens when it should be washing on the other cycles? Any sounds?

Does the timer continue through the cycle anyway?

Do ALL other functions (fill, drain, spin, etc.) work on the cycles where agitate is not functioning?

If you can provide more details we may be able to suggest a cause or course of action.
