Our house plans called for hardi plank siding which we changed to vinyl siding. Plans show exterior windows with those really nice "chunky" window headers measuring approximately 16" in Ht. Problem is, vinyl siding folks can only get 9" flat headers. House is 3 floors. . .And ready for headers. Please, anyone have ideas on headers? Thank you.

I was reviewing posts and saw where you had replied to mine about the headers. My apologies! I believe I have found a source locally. If it doesn't work out, I will be getting back with you. Again, please accept my apology.. .I usually check to be notified when a replay is posted, but I failed to do so this time. We are in the process of building a home on the lake and it is all consuming. Our contractor started on the house in 5/03 and it remains 50% complete.
