This is getting to be a problem. Just replaced motor in a Kenmore dryer. Upon reassembly, when I turn it on it is sounding like it is rubbing on somthing and upon each rotation make a clunk sound. I have repaired quite a few similar dryers in the past from motors to coils to belts, thermostats etc. and have never encountered this problem. Took this thing apart 2 more times to recheck proper belt routing, rollers, tensioner, heck even for proper motor rotation and it still makes this noise. What could I be overlooking !! |
