I had my water main replaced last week and right after it went online the toilet filler valve got clogged so I replaced just the filler valve with the exact same kind that was in there. It works fine except that once or twice an hour it turns on (starts to fill) for about a second or two and then shuts off. Can anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it?
