Newly Installed Roof

04/02/2000 11:54 AM angelena53

We just had a roof put on, our house that is over 100 years old, in July. We notified the roofer that the roof leaks in several places. In December, he claimed that the roof was repaired and should not leak. We told him that we would not be able to check until the spring. As of today (April 02, 2000, the roof still leaks.
My questions are from the 3 pictures on my web page (see address below), are yu able to determine if this roof was installed correctly. Also we know that this octagon piece was not done correctly, should it be torn down or can it be saved? Also what is this octagon piece? We have a couple of quotes from new roofers and they want to tear it down. What so you think?
